"Zoinks!" is what Dr Dawson would say while jumping into Basil's arms. If he knew the word, that is! On September 13, 1969, the first episode of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" premiered. It was a cartoon series about young teens solving mysteries. Almost every episode showed Scooby and Shaggy scared out of their wits, jumping into each other's arms. The scene of Basil and Dr Dawson being startled by a loud noise always reminded me of the cowardly pair!
