Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson Scene

"I observe that there is a good deal of German music on the program. It is quite introspective, and I want to introspect."--Sherlock Holmes

On July 7, 1930, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the original author of the Sherlock Holmes books, passed away. In his honor, I am sharing the scene from Disney's The Great Mouse Detective when Basil, Dr. Dawson, and Olivia Flaversham, visit the famous sleuth's home to meet up with Toby, his trusty basset hound. The audio clip of Sherlock Holmes was of Basil Rathbone from an old radio show of the story, "The Redheaded League." Dr. Watson was voiced by Laurie Main.
