Toby, an adorable basset hound, has one of the most splendid senses of smell in London. A resident of Sherlock Holmes himself, Toby also serves Basil in sniffing out dangerous criminals, as well as helping the detective get to-and-from areas of London quickly. He proves a crucial role in the Ratigan case, helping Basil track down Fidget at a local toy shop and chase down the evil cat Felicia.

A frisky, curious dog, Toby loves treats and belly rubs.
